With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), I have dedicated my career to supporting children and families through comprehensive and compassionate care. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2002 with a Master’s degree in Social Work and later pursued advanced certification in behavior analysis, completing my coursework at the Florida Institute of Technology and becoming a BCBA in 2015.
My approach to counseling is rooted in evidence-based practices, specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am committed to strength-based counseling and offer thorough assessments for anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I am particularly passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals, addressing trauma, and helping children navigate school-related challenges.
In my practice, I strive to create a comfortable and creative environment where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and strengths. I believe in the power of partnership, empowering individuals and families, while helping them to build resilience and achieve their goals.
